Description

NS1 Antigen test is a blood test. It detects the non-structural protein NS1 of dengue virus. This protein is secreted into the blood during dengue infection. NS1 is detectable during the acute phase of dengue virus infections (1 to 7 days of infection). After day 7, NS1 test is not recommended. Lab results are usually ready the same day.
